Sr. Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Candidate to manage and monitor the success of assigned construction projects ranging from $5 to $30 million.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction to close-out
• Manage project activities, including resource allocation, work breakdown structure, milestones, and deliverables
• Develop and manage a risk register from project onset
• Adhere to established best practices
• Stay updated with Procore upgrades and continually train on new features
• Track all project costs to ensure they meet or exceed target budgets
• Ensure projects are completed on time and to client satisfaction
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and trades
• Address deficiencies promptly
• Document and improve on key takeaways or lessons learned
• Actively participate in OAC meetings and manage conflict resolution
• Provide regular updates on project health to the Project Director
• Enforce safety standards on each project
• Update and report on construction schedules weekly

Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years in the construction industry
• At least 10 years working “at risk” for a General Contractor in Canada (CCDC 2, CCDC 14, CCDC 5B)
• Extensive experience with CCDC contracts, having completed 20-30 CCDC 2 contracts on ICI projects valued between $5-30MM each
• Proficiency in Procore
• Ability to create and update complex MS project schedules weekly, tracking changes and delays
• Experience in writing claims
• Residing in Niagara or willing to relocate within 6 months
• Commitment to a long-term career
• Proven ability to manage Div 1. General Conditions costs
• 3-5 subcontractor references
• 3-5 client references
• Team player with a collaborative spirit
• Driven and ambitious

Salary Range:

• $125k-150k per year
