SALARY: $180k - $240k

Responsibilities:

The Regional Director is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the execution of electrical projects for data centers across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro area, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing large-scale, complex projects while providing expert guidance on construction methodologies, material selection, and cost optimization strategies. The Regional Director collaborates with cross-functional teams, builds strong client and stakeholder relationships, mitigates risks through proactive planning, and drives operational excellence. As a visionary leader with extensive expertise in electrical construction and critical infrastructure—particularly in the data center sector—the Regional Director is tasked with developing high-performing teams, mentoring future leaders, and contributing to business development initiatives that align with organizational goals and objectives.




Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership to project teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee multiple data center projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution and adherence to financial targets.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Electrical Superintendents, and field teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions to meet schedules and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors for effective communication and collaboration.
  • Enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a culture of safety.
  • Identify and mitigate risks through proactive planning and management.
  • Engage in business development, including estimating, proposal preparation, and client acquisition.
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers and field leaders to build a pipeline of future organizational leaders.
  • Provide expert guidance on construction methodologies, material selection, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Monitor cash flow, invoicing, and cost reporting to ensure financial health.
  • Manage subcontractor and supplier performance to align with project goals.
  • Guide the change order and claims processes, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
  • Conduct project reviews to address challenges and implement solutions with stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in project execution and team performance.



Must-Have Skills
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (6–7 years) in the electrical or construction industry.
  • 10+ years of managerial experience leading construction project teams, with a focus on electrical systems and installations for Data Center projects.
  • Proven expertise in delivering large-scale electrical construction projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a history of mentoring and developing project teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
  • Availability to travel within the region as needed.



Preferred:
  • 10+ years of experience managing critical electrical infrastructure projects, such as data centers.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., estimating software, scheduling platforms).
  • Advanced skills in electrical estimating, budgeting, and project scheduling.
