We are seeking a Commercial Service Sales Expert to join a leading roofing and exterior services company in Waco, TX. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive account growth in your territory while mentoring a Junior Sales Representative. Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the company professionally with clients, architects, consultants, property managers, building owners, general contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage targeted client lists, offering services such as leak repairs, preventative maintenance, flashing upgrades, coatings, and small replacements.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, prioritizing excellent customer service to encourage referrals and repeat business.
  • Drive new customer acquisition through cold calling, prospecting, networking, telemarketing follow-ups, targeted marketing, and business development meetings.
  • Build relationships with owners, contractors, and suppliers to enhance business partnerships.
  • Collaborate on customer acquisition strategies and execute them effectively.
  • Coordinate service replacements with production sales teams.
  • Conduct building measurements, verify dimensions, and perform test cuts as needed.
  • Complete take-offs, estimates, and detailed proposals to close sales.
  • Maintain and update the bid calendar to ensure team alignment on timelines.
  • Review Notice to Proceed letters (NTPs) and contracts to ensure scope and pricing accuracy.
  • Partner with the Service Manager for seamless project handoffs after bid awards.
  • Contribute to project completion analysis and track performance metrics.
  • Plan and execute marketing and outreach activities to support business growth.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge or experience in commercial roofing (preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate).
  • Proven leadership experience in managing sales associates.
  • Minimum of 5 years in construction or industrial sales.
  • Demonstrated success in increasing market share and driving business growth.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in sales tracking and computer systems.
 
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Construction Management (preferred but not required).
  • Experience in project management or estimating roofing systems such as single-ply, asphalt, cold-applied, hot-applied, and metal projects.
  • Fluent in Spanish (highly preferred).
