Commercial Roofing Sales Specialist
Salary: $80,000–$100,000 annually plus bonus

We are seeking a Commercial Roofing Sales Specialist to join our client’s rapidly growing team in Waco, TX. As a key player in this premier roofing and exterior services company, you’ll manage and grow accounts in your territory while mentoring a Junior Sales Representative. Key Responsibilities
- Represent the company professionally with clients, architects, consultants, property managers, building owners, general contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Develop and manage targeted client lists, offering services such as leak repairs, preventative maintenance, flashing upgrades, coatings, and small replacements.
- Build and maintain strong commercial client relationships, emphasizing customer service to drive referrals and repeat business.
- Grow the customer base through cold calling, prospecting, networking, telemarketing follow-ups, targeted marketing, and business development meetings.
- Establish strong connections with owners, contractors, and suppliers.
- Collaborate on customer acquisition strategies and execute them effectively.
- Coordinate service replacements with production sales teams.
- Perform building measurements, verify dimensions, and conduct test cuts as needed.
- Complete take-offs, estimates, and create detailed proposals to close sales.
- Maintain a bid calendar and update the team on project timelines.
- Review and ensure accuracy of Notice to Proceed letters (NTPs) and contracts.
- Partner with the Service Manager for project handoffs after bid awards.
- Contribute to job completion analysis and track performance metrics.
- Plan and participate in marketing and outreach activities to support business growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge or experience in commercial roofing (desired but not mandatory for the right candidate).
- Proven leadership experience managing sales associates.
- At least 5 years of experience in construction or industrial sales.
- Demonstrated success in increasing market share.
- Tenacity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in sales tracking and computer usage.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Construction Management (preferred but not required).
- Experience in project management or estimating roofing systems such as single-ply, asphalt, cold-applied, hot-applied, and metal projects.
- Fluent in Spanish ( highly preferred)
