Our client, a top-tier full-service roofing and exterior services provider, is seeking a Commercial Roofing Sales and Estimation Specialist to join their innovative team in Pompano Beach, FL. This hybrid role merges the technical demands of cost estimation with the dynamic aspects of client engagement and sales. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with clients, engineers, and internal teams to understand project goals and deliver tailored solutions.
- Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, consultants, and contractors, alongside the Business Development Leader.
- Expand the client base through attending pre-bid meetings and organizing bid invitations.
- Review contracts, project specifications, and drawings to compile accurate project details.
- Use Edge Estimating Software for precise take-offs and cost estimates.
- Oversee estimating functions, including preparing bids, setting pricing strategies, and managing change orders.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and deliver comprehensive project proposals.
- Collaborate with Project Managers on project handoffs, account management, and dispute resolution.
- Analyze project performance metrics and prepare financial reports for stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough analysis of specifications and drawings to ensure accurate project planning.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required; a degree in Business or Construction Management is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience estimating large commercial roofing projects.
- At least 2 years of experience managing large-scale commercial roofing projects.
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing materials such as single-ply, asphalt, cold applied, hot applied, and metal (preferred).
- Proven ability to generate multimillion-dollar annual revenue.
- Familiarity with top competitors in the full-service commercial roofing market.
- Proficient in Edge Estimating software.
- Fluent in Spanish (highly preferred).
- Strong analytical and financial forecasting skills.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
