Regional Sales Manager - Ontario

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnered with an industry leading manufacturer of industrial air extraction and filtration products and are searching for their new Regional Sales Manager - Ontario.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, well organized consultative salesperson who is mechanically inclined, enjoys being client facing, and is skilled at developing long term, mutually beneficial client relationships.

The ability to ‘think on your feet’, develop strategies to overcome impediments and obstacles in your path to success are essential in supporting your need to succeed.

This individual would need be centrally located in the province of Ontario, based out of their home office.

Primary Role:
To achieve budgeted sales and profitability by building a best-in-class industrial reseller network that will drive sales and share of all products in the company portfolio. As well, the ability to work directly in the industrial manufacturing and emergency services sectors providing turnkey solutions.

•    Manage the territory for maximum coverage across select product lines
•    Have strong industrial market awareness and take active responsibility for the company’s
     profitability and success on each job.
•    Manage sales pipeline using Microsoft Dynamics CRM
•    Present bi-monthly power points to manager on past month and current MTD performance of region.
•    Become adept at using sales support resources, train partners on all tools and programs
•    Maintain fair and appropriate discount levels for resellers based on program criteria. Be in tune with             
     competitive offerings and market pricing to assure accurate quoting.
•    Produce monthly sales forecasts, then plan and execute to achieve target sales.
•    Follow processes and procedures outlined in all phases of the business
•    Train and consult with resellers to drive expected annual sales growth.
•    Drive market share increases annually by expanding current niche partner networks and attain new niche
     partners to address regional gaps
•    Work with resellers to engage with products and programs to develop sustainable profitable growth
•    Ability to work within our internal team to support your activities to create sustainable profitable growth
Job duties, responsibilities and expectations are not limited to these alone, and may vary along with the territory

Experience and Qualifications
•    Skilled in consultative selling techniques, needs analysis, and strategic planning
•    Background working with technical products through distribution networks
•    Must be mechanically inclined
•    Success selling to direct manufacturing, OEMs and National Accounts is a plus.
•    Proven success in managing a large territory and growing an existing book of business.
•    Self-motivated and drive to succeed
•    Overnight travel; first year travel would be 50%, in following years would be 30%
•    Customer facing 4 days a week; 1 day a week in home office to coordinate travel and paperwork
•    Computer skills with Word, Excel, Power Point, Pivot Tables, Quote Tools, and CRM
•    Valid driver’s license and passport.
