Service Technician

Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Salary: $20-$30 per hour (Based on experience)

Our client was established in 1978 and is a leader in the commercial roofing industry. They are known for their commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, and offer services in new construction, re-roofs, and preventative maintenance across multiple states.

The Job

The primary function of the Service technician is to diagnose and repair roofing related issues on commercial and residential properties. 


In partnership with the appropriate staff completes the following tasks.
  • Make emergency repairs when and as needed to satisfy customer needs.
  • Conducting general inspections / scope of work for potential repairs / replacements
  • Interacting and work well with owner, customers, co workers, managers, and inter-office personnel, etc. 
  • Identify, locate, document, and advise on roof system deficiencies and issues. 
  • Install service and perform approved repairs as requested. 
  • Must me adaptable to constantly changing environments and workplaces. 
  • Provide a complete scope of work to be performed for additional repairs needed. 
  • Must be available to travel. 
  • Complete required paperwork such as on-line service documents, time sheets, etc. 
  • Any other assigned duties

  • Experienced on commercial roof systems as described above. 
  • Physically capable of handling all aspects of roofing repairs. 
  • Maintain all OSHA and other industry standards for safety and compliance. 
  • Good computer skills 
  • Excellent communicator, both oral and written 
  • Pass State Police background check.
