Are you an experienced Electrical Estimator looking for a role where your skills and expertise will be valued? Join our client’s team in Phoenix, AZ, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the success of commercial and industrial electrical projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Review electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings to develop accurate cost estimates, material take-offs, and budgets.
• Interpret project specifications and general conditions to ensure estimates align with requirements.
• Identify and collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers, obtaining competitive bids and verifying scope completeness.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve pre-bid questions and ensure a smooth estimating process.
• Prepare and present detailed proposals to customers, supporting business development and fostering long-term relationships.
• Attend job walks, pre-bid meetings, and networking events to stay informed on industry trends and opportunities.
• Provide cost-saving alternatives and value engineering suggestions when necessary.
• Support project kickoff meetings, working closely with Project Managers and Foremen to ensure accurate execution of awarded projects.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with estimating software.
• Electrical knowledge in commercial/industrial construction, including low-voltage systems.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, staying organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, ensuring smooth collaboration with clients and internal teams.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, Revit, or CAD is a plus.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of estimating experience in electrical construction is highly desired.
• Familiarity with Design-Build and Design-Assist project delivery methods is a plus.
