National Business Development Manager – Commercial Roofing

Location: Arizona
Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 Base + 3% of Gross Profit Commission

Our client is a leading Commercial Roofing organization with multiple entities across the U.S. Specializing in large-scale roofing projects, they provide top-tier solutions for industrial, commercial, and multi-facility clients. With a strong national presence, they are now expanding their sales force to drive further growth.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development professional with a proven track record in commercial roofing or manufacturing sales. The ideal candidate will leverage their existing book of business and industry contacts—especially in Texas—to expand national accounts and drive revenue growth.

This role will focus on identifying and cultivating long-term client relationships through strategic networking, industry partnerships, and solution-driven sales. Candidates must have at least 3+ years of successful sales experience in roofing, manufacturing, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a national business development strategy, leveraging the company’s extensive network to drive sales.
  • Identify, engage, and secure high-value national accounts with a focus on multi-facility clients.
  • Utilize an existing book of business and professional contacts (especially in Texas) to generate new revenue opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including property owners, facility managers, general contractors, and developers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored commercial roofing solutions that meet client needs.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to build industry presence and identify opportunities.
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets through a consultative sales approach.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, estimating, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of sales experience in commercial roofing, manufacturing, or a related industry.
  • Strong book of business and established contacts, with a preference for Texas-based relationships.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and develop national accounts.
  • Experience in B2B sales, strategic partnerships, and long-term client retention.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close high-value deals.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and capable of working independently while being a team player.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and networking events.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $100,000 - $115,000
  • Commission: 3% of Gross Profit
