Position: Construction Executive – Doors, Frames, and Hardware​

Location: Beltsville, Maryland​

Salary: $165,000 to $175,000 or more depending on experience and qualifications. They offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, along with benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and performance-based incentives.​

Role Overview: Our client is seeking a seasoned Construction Executive to lead our Doors, Frames, and Hardware division. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of Division 8 construction services, capable of driving project success from inception to completion.​

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Oversee and mentor project teams, including Project Managers, Engineers, Superintendents, and field personnel, ensuring cohesive collaboration and optimal performance.  
  • Project Management: Lead all phases of construction projects, from estimating and bidding to execution and closeout, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.​
  • Client Relations: Serve as the primary liaison with clients, architects, and consultants, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with project goals.​
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, resource allocation, and profitability within the division.​
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.​
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within the construction industry, with a focus on doors, frames, and hardware. Proven experience in estimating and project management is essential.  
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.​
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software and a solid understanding of Division 8 specifications.​
