Job Posting: High-Rise Site Superintendent

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced High-Rise Site Superintendent for an upcoming project. This role is ideal for a driven individual with a proven track record in managing large-scale residential developments.

Your primary role and responsibilities shall include the on-site supervision and management of Construction – Safety, Schedule, Quality & Budget. Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • As the leader of the Project Site Team your duties include overseeing all on-site construction activities daily.
  • Enforce company and project policies and ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the design, budget, and schedule.
  • Take the lead on productivity issues and monitor work performance and efficiency of employees and Trade Contractors to ensure project plans and schedule are followed and project is executed effectively and within budget.
  • Attend required construction meetings with consultants and Trade Contractors.
  • Ensure construction compliance with design requirements, project materials and workmanship meet the Project Quality Standards.
  • Ensure compliance with project construction schedule, budgets and assume responsibility for the commissioning & occupancy of the project.
  • Ensure implementation of safety programs, including integrating the programs into all site plans and procedures and adhering to all safety and record-keeping requirements.
  • Develop and manage resource-loaded three-week lookahead schedules.
  • Review and understand the contracts and develop plans that identify and mitigate risk and maximize opportunities to ensure that all budgets are met.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Current Position: High-Rise Site Superintendent
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 full project cycles as the Main/Head Site Super, including expertise in shoring, formwork, envelope, M&E, finishing, and occupancy phases.
  • Background: Previous experience working directly for a developer is highly preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Safety, schedule, and quality-focused.
    • Highly organized with strong planning and scheduling abilities.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Technology: Proficient with iPads and Procore, tech-savvy and adaptable to new tools.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $180,000+
  • Bonuses: Up to 10% yearly bonus + Project Completion Bonus (negotiable)
  • Benefits: Full healthcare benefits
  • Vacation: 3 weeks of paid vacation annually
