Commercial Roofing Superintendent
 
$65,000- $85,000 annual salary
 
Our client, a leader as a full-service roofing and exterior services provider seeks a Roofing Superintendent with commercial roofing experience in West Palm Beach, FL.  As a Roofing Superintendent, your primary role is to coordinate and oversee field operations. You'll work closely with Project Managers to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
 
Responsibilities:
 

• Understand roofing practices, techniques, codes, and regulations.
• Manage the roofing crew foremen and field operations.
• Oversee ongoing projects to ensure they meet schedule and budget requirements, including labor and materials.
• Coordinate material loading and deliveries with the Project Coordinator.
• Provide necessary information to foremen before project commencement.
• Manage scheduling, inventory control, and labor budget.
• Prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction specifications, and perform measurements when needed.
• Make informed decisions and handle job site issues effectively.
• Communicate with Building Owners, Engineers, and general contracting superintendents during on-site meetings and visits.

 
 
Required Skills/Abilities:
 

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial roofing company.
• Knowledge of commercial roofing, particularly single-ply, asphalt, cold applied, hot applied, and metal projects (preferred).
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• OSHA Safety certification.
• Spanish-speaking skills preferred.
