OUR CLIENT
On behalf of our client, we are offering an opportunity to join a growing group with extreme success working on BC based site development projects.

Our client would like to bring on a diligent, reliable and knowledgeable Survey Manager who is eager to grow with the company.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Geomatics degree or diploma with 10+ years in survey tech or project management roles; construction survey experience preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and survey computation software
  • Experience with Civil 3D
  • Experience with industrial and/or civil site development projects an asset
  • Strong knowledge of survey calculations, geodetic coordinate systems and map projections
  • Determine, monitor and control standards for work products, such as plan sets, reports, specifications, and data files.
  • Ensure that work products have a consistent process across offices, and are delivered efficiently.
  • Lead by example – display solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism.
  • Valid driver's license, ability to travel to site when necessary
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and manage all survey operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers and other stakeholders to define and uphold project scope and deliverables
  • Prepare proposals, technical reports and documents
  • Lead survey crews and communicate scope and schedule
  • Oversee the information flow from field to final deliverables.
  • Ensure the proper use, maintenance and calibration of survey equipment and software.
  • Sourcing required heavy equipment and machinery.
