On behalf of our client, we are offering an opportunity to join a growing group with extreme success working on BC based site development projects.

Our client would like to bring on a diligent, reliable and knowledgeable Survey Manager who is eager to grow with the company.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Geomatics degree or diploma with 10+ years in survey tech or project management roles; construction survey experience preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD and survey computation software
- Experience with Civil 3D
- Experience with industrial and/or civil site development projects an asset
- Strong knowledge of survey calculations, geodetic coordinate systems and map projections
- Determine, monitor and control standards for work products, such as plan sets, reports, specifications, and data files.
- Ensure that work products have a consistent process across offices, and are delivered efficiently.
- Lead by example – display solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism.
- Valid driver's license, ability to travel to site when necessary

- Oversee and manage all survey operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with clients, project managers and other stakeholders to define and uphold project scope and deliverables
- Prepare proposals, technical reports and documents
- Lead survey crews and communicate scope and schedule
- Oversee the information flow from field to final deliverables.
- Ensure the proper use, maintenance and calibration of survey equipment and software.
- Sourcing required heavy equipment and machinery.
- Good natured management in a fast growing company with a "small company" culture feel
