Senior Estimator - Electrical Construction

Location: Dallas-Fort Worth
Salary: $130,000–$150,000+ (Willing to pay more for the right candidate)

Our client is a nationally recognized electrical contractor specializing in mission-critical environments, including data centers and high-tech infrastructure. As a Senior Electrical Estimator, you will take the lead on developing detailed, competitive cost estimates for complex electrical projects that demand accuracy, efficiency, and deep technical understanding.
This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in high-stakes environments, understands field execution and preconstruction strategy, and enjoys collaborating across departments to drive winning bids and successful project outcomes.
The successful candidate will have:
•Proven experience working for an electrical contractor
• 8–10 years of electrical estimating experience (education may offset experience requirements)
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and low-voltage systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation
• Experience estimating large-scale and smaller data center projects
• Proficiency with estimating tools such as Accubid or ConEst (preferred)
• Solid computer skills with Microsoft Office or Google Suite
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Leadership capabilities to coordinate and mentor junior estimators
• Ability to develop cost estimates from take-off through bid submission, including change orders
• Experience attending pre-bid and scope review meetings
• Ability to assess labor, materials, and equipment needs through site visits
• Organized approach to documentation and a mindset for continuous process improvement
• Calm, focused demeanor under tight deadlines and in high-pressure environments
