Architecture Firm - NON HYBRID
THE OPPORTUNITY
TalentSphere is working with a great architectural firm located downtown Toronto looking for an Associate Architect to join their leadership team. They do a variety of mixed-used, commercial, residential & hospitality projects: you will work closely with the Principals to deliver high-quality projects to discriminating clients. This role is an in-office (non-hybrid/non-remote) role involving excellent delegation skills to oversee sophisticated projects from concept to completion.
WHAT THEY NEED
• Someone with a Master's or Bachelors of Architecture; minimum 10+ years of post-graduate experience; preference to fully OAA licensed architects with top-tier education credentials
• Candidate with an ability to oversee multiple projects; keeping them on deadlines while overseeing staff schedules and resources; manage the client relationship including early concept design and development
• An experienced leader than can mentor and coach team leads; champion best practices and provide ongoing support and feedback to ensure employees feel respected and rewarded for work well done; provide ongoing to achieve success
• Someone to monitor project hours, time sheets & oversee fee management; take corrective actions and troubleshoot design or regulatory/compliance issues as they arise
• Candidate strong in Revit with exceptional design and leadership skills; a strong track record of working with OAA architects, interns & technologists across all stages of projects: programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents & contract administration
• A team player that brings out the best in others and knows how to make pitches to various stakeholders and clients
