Intern/Junior - $60,000-75,000
Intermediate - $80,000-100,000
Senior - $105,000-125,000

About: Our client is a multidisciplinary municipal engineering consulting firm based in the Greater Toronto Area. Offering environmental engineering consultation, design, and construction administration to their long-term clients. Role & Responsibilities:
  • Seeking a Structural Design Engineer specialized in the preliminary design bridge preliminary of bridges and culverts.
  • Support on-going and upcoming projects, conducting site inspections, and feasibility studies.
  • Create and prepare project estimates, proposals, budget, project schedule plan, and execution strategy.
  • Engage in the project management process. Monitor projects for adherence to timelines and budgets, notify relevant parties of updates.
  • Review work of and provide mentorship and coaching to Junior Engineers and EITs.
  • When assigned, sign and stamp drawings and reports.
  • Documentation preparation and writing, technical reports, specifications, municipal submissions, and technical proposals.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external parties, government agencies, contractors, and customers.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
  • Strong knowledge of conveyance structures and materials, flow structure, and water retention.
  • Advanced communication skills, ability to convey ideas and comments in a concise and professional manner verbally and in writing.
  • High attention to detail.
  • 5-10 years of relevant industry-related experience is strongly preferred.
  • Formal education in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
  • P.Eng, highly preferred, or ability to become licensed.
  • Valid license, ability to travel and visit projects sites within Ontario.
  • MS Office, relevant software and programs.
