About the client
A mid-sized architectural firm with multiple offices, expanding with projects across Canada, seeks an Architectural Designer or newly licensed OAA Architect with solid Revit skills to join their team. They specialize in long term care, senior homes, clinical labs and other non-acute healthcare projects. They will consider a one-time relocation fee, or signing bonus, to attract a well-qualified candidate from Toronto to join their growing team in Kingston, Ontario. This is a great role for someone who wants to work on dynamic projects in one of Ontario’s favorite spots for summer tourism, only 2 hours from Toronto by car.

What they are looking for
- 5+ five years of post graduate experience; Architectural Technologist or Bachelor of Architecture credentials; 3+ in healthcare preferred or complex mid-sized projects; ranging from $10~100 million dollars
- Experience designing low to mid rise multi-unit institutional projects, including long-term care, retirement homes or healthcare projects; portfolio of demonstrated skills required
- Solid Revit skills and knowledge OBC and building science fundamentals
- Ability to produce a full set of high-quality drawings in Revit; details and documentation that are clear, accurate, comprehensive and consistent
- Strong spoken and written English skills; ability to collaborate well with employees and external stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and project management software
- Assist in the creation of visualizations, samples, and demonstration boards
- Up to date COVID vaccination record
