Are you an experienced leader in manufacturing operations looking for your next challenge? Our client, a leading company in the structural steel industry, is searching for a Plant Manager to drive efficiency, quality, and growth in their facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven professional to take ownership of plant operations and lead a high-performing team.

We’re looking for a jack-of-all-trades—someone who understands how to operate in all environments, can juggle competing priorities, and brings a hands-on mindset to high-level strategy. You’ll be expected to not only run the day-to-day but also lead future expansion, optimize systems, and operate as a key player in senior management. If you’re the kind of person who’s as comfortable on the floor as you are in the boardroom, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily plant operations, including production scheduling, logistics, and maintenance.
  • Manage fabrication, welding, and coating operations while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with AISC, CWB, and OSHA standards.
  • Lead and mentor department managers and supervisors, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and communicate insights to leadership.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7–10+ years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Background in Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and team-building skills.
