Description

Our client is seeking a results-driven Sales Territory Manager to join their team and drive growth in Northern California. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the sales force in the region, with a focus on customer service, market dominance, and profitability. This role involves overseeing and expanding sales efforts within a designated territory. It requires a strategic thinker with a strong sales background, leadership capabilities, and the ability to build and maintain lasting customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the market, a passion for exceeding sales targets, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Compensation

Base Salary: $60,000
Uncapped Commission Structure
On-Target Earnings (OTE): Minimum $100,000

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue goals and drive territorial growth.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities. Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and risks. Offer strategic recommendations based on insights.
  • Sales Execution: Lead sales initiatives including prospecting, presentations, negotiations, and deal closures. Manage the complete sales cycle from lead to contract.
  • Reporting: Maintain and report on sales performance, pipeline, and KPIs. Provide regular updates and presentations to management.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure cohesive execution of sales initiatives.
  • Customer Feedback: Collect and share customer feedback to support product improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Mentor and support junior sales staff in the territory, promoting professional development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven sales and negotiation abilities with a track record of closing deals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends for strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities; capable of handling multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
