Our client is a well reputed and incredibly fast-growing food manufacturer based in Mississauga, Ontario.  They are looking to bring in a Bilingual Customer Service Representative with strong written and verbal skills in French.  
The Customer Service Rep is responsible for engaging with their existing customer base and providing outstanding support and customer experience.  Customer Service will include order taking/processing along with Sales support such as managing customer complaint and sample processes.

 
Customer Service.

 
  • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers.
  • Address all customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction.  Escalate as required.
  • Updated Salesforce (CRM), and successfully enter data into our operating system
  • Stay abreast of the industry developments and their impact on the organization’s competitiveness and product offerings.
  • Receive customer orders via phone & email
  • Provide timely and efficient service to customers, suppliers, and sales team. Responding to inquiries, problems and delivery schedules requests from customers.
  • Interact with delivery drivers, direct drivers to product location for loading/unloading.
  • Maintain customer relationships through handling customer complaints by; Trouble shooting all customer related service issues and providing an optimal resolution to satisfy the customers’ needs, documenting all complaints and forwarding them to various departments for further resolutions.
  • Supports other team members to complete daily transactions.

Sales Support.
  • Actively participate in trade shows, training seminars, and conventions.
  • Manage sample program
  • Support Account Managers with day-to-day customer related inquiries and documentation request

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of business experience.
  • 2-3 years in customer facing role;  food industry related experience preferred
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office is required, quick learner
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Bilingual Proficiency in written and verbal French.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Has the ability to demonstrate leadership, can take ownership of tasks and make decisions, takes initiative and is self-motivated
  • Must have the ability to work well within a team environment
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and resolve discrepancies in a reasonable amount of time.
