Job Title: Millwright / Maintenance Technician
Location: Calgary, Alberta
Salary: $35/hr to $45/hr

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Millwright / Maintenance Technician to join our team in Calgary. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installations on a variety of mechanical systems, including air compressors, pumps, and custom-built equipment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on mechanical systems such as air compressors and pumps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to ensure minimal downtime for equipment.
• Assist with the assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of complex systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to support maintenance and repair tasks.
• Collaborate on custom fabrication projects and installations.
• Maintain a high standard of safety, adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
• Provide support for emergency breakdowns and assist with commissioning new equipment.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Millwright certification or equivalent experience.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting, ideally within the compressor, pump, or industrial equipment sectors.
• Experience with electrical systems, PLCs, and basic welding/fabrication skills are considered an asset.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and own tools are required.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and familiarity with safety protocols and regulations.
