Position: Municipal Engineer 
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Salary: $100k + (Based on experience)
Onsite, in person 
 
Our client is currently seeking to add a Civil/Municipal Engineer at their Edmonton location. 
 
Responsibilities:

• Formulate detailed drawings and designs utilizing Civil 3D
• Prepare civil related engineering reports and analyses
• provide construction cost estimates, project specifications and contract documents
• Deal with engineering calculations for water, sewer, and drainage systems
• oversee project documents and complete required technical submissions
• Work alongside the Project Manager to ensure tasks are completed for projects to move forward
• Deal and handle clients-facing responsibilities - contractors, project team members and stakeholders on multiple projects

Qualifications: 

• A degree in civil engineering or related field
• 10-15 years’ experience in municipal/land development
• Must be a registered professional engineer in good standing with APEGA
• Knowledge in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
• Ability to remain professional and tackle challenging situations with ease
• Ability to work alongside other disciplinary teams
• Must be able to meet deadlines with excellent prioritization skills
• Must be have a go-getter attitude/self starter
• Be comfortable with travel - must hold a valid driver's license
