We are looking for an experienced Project Manager for who will work in conjunction with the Site Supervisor and project team to ensure the success of every project undertaken.  The successful candidate's responsibilities will include the following:
  • Work with Preconstruction team to develop a project budget and breakdown of responsibility
  • Collaborate with scheduling team to develop schedule and critical path for the project
  • Identify any items or events that may alter the scheduled outcome and create a plan to minimize or eliminate impact
  • Update budget and schedule in agreed upon intervals
  • Work with Estimating department to identify full scope of work for subtrades
  • Prepare invoices for billings including monthly progress draws
  • Review subtrade invoices, approve or amend to reflect changes
  • Attend all site meetings, ensure that any communication from the owner or consultants is addressed 
  • Work with Accounting to review job costs and identify and modify monthly cash flow based on project costs
  • Provide support to the Project Coordinator during shop drawing and equipment reviews.
  • Assume complete responsibility for the success of every project including budget, scope quality and schedule
  • 10 years of experience as a Project Manager  
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Superior organizational and problem solving skills
  • Leadership skills and/or experience mentoring junior staff
  • Strong computer and software skills including MS Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues and clients
  • P.Eng or CET designation
