$17.50-$19.50 per hour Monday to Friday

Our client is a retail energy marketer providing natural gas and electricity to homes and businesses across Canada and USA. Canadian-owned and headquartered in Mississauga, and operates in Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia and multiple states in the U.S.A.

Our client is Looking for Tele-Sales Representatives to to contribute in generating sales for the company in their Tele-sales department.
The Outbound Tele-Sales Representative will be responsible for outbound calls to prospects, providing details on the products and services and getting them to sign up. Primary objective is to explain the product/services in an efficient manner, verify the required information for sign up and assisting the customer in completing the sign up formalities.

Primary Responsibilities:
 Answering questions about company or its products/services
 Initiate sales with potential customers over the phone by using standardized sales techniques and selling skills
 Adhere to provided scripts and FAQ’s
 Generation, managing, tracking and following up on leads
 Closing sales deals over the phone
 Must work efficiently while meeting the sales level requirements

Communication & Working Environment
  •  Communicate both in writing and verbally in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to remain focused while working at a cubical workstation for prolonged periods of time
  •  Adheres to all office and Company policies
  • Works in a co-operative, courteous and supportive manner with peers and supervisor
  •  Assists in other related functions within the call centre when deemed necessary
  • Other duties and functions as assigned
The Ideal candidate will have;
  • 1 year of call centre/sales related experience
  • Ability to handle outbound queue 500-1000 dials day on automated dialer
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Ability to handle high volumes of telephone calls within specified time-frames
  • Ability to retain program and product knowledge
  • Flexible, reliable, conscientious and able to follow directions
