We have partnered with our client to assist them in their search for an Associate Project Manager with at least four years of  experience with interior commercial renovation projects.  This is an intermediate position with room to build a career in a progressive, motivating environment.  There will be a wide range of duties as part of this position and will offer the right individual a chance to grow and work toward advancement in time. This role will be based out of Mississauga.

In this position you will be part of a team responsible for the success of projects from buyout to closeout.  You have a firm grasp of the essential events that must take place on a daily, weekly or monthly basis to keep your projects profitable and moving forward.  A selection of responsibilities includes: 
  • Working with the assigned internal Project Team to schedule onsite construction activities
  • Work with Subcontractors to ensure entire scope of work is covered and labour is available to meet project schedule
  • Price out Change Order Requests; generate Change Orders, RFIs
  • Assist in preparation of subtrade and supplier purchase orders; approve invoices and monthly progress draws   
  • Work with Project Manager to correctly process shop drawings and other project and closeout documents
  • Attend project meetings, ensure correct minutes are distributed and followed up on
 Qualifications:
  • Degree or Diploma in a construction related discipline
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in an ICI environment
  • Full confidence in your ability to succeed.
