Our client is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the GTA. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing accounts within a defined territory.

Duties to include:
  • Using current market analysis, develop and execute a working plan.
  • Work closely with the service team to coordinate product delivery.
  • Position yourself as a key adviser and available resource.
  • Scheduled sales calls to all industry identified prospects.
  • Establish solid relationships at all levels in target accounts.
  • Regular CRM activities and sales reporting.
  • Preparation of and delivery of detailed proposals focusing on solution based propositions.
  • Working with existing clients and suggesting ancillary products and/or services.
  • Effective follow up of all leads.
  • Regular market investigation to self-generate leads.
  • Ongoing monitoring of existing private and government requests for proposal.
  • Meet or exceed annual budgets in all product lines.
  • Keen understanding of the industry environment and competitor position.
  • Key account management on an on-going basis.
Skill requirements:
  • Preference will be given to those with a clinical background.
  • Effective, clear, concise communication skills.
  • Highly organized in all areas of responsibility.
  • Comfortable selling to large players.
  • Able to present to groups of varying size.
  • Understanding of risk management.
  • Skilled in strategic selling and strategic account management.
  • Able to work with peers and superiors equally and professionally.
  • Experience in accident prevention principles.
  • Above average computer skills with all basic applications and ERP systems.
Educational requirements:
  • Degree in business, science or Kinesiology.
  • Experience with capital equipment sales.
  • A demonstrable, high performance sales background of at least three years.
