Our client is looking for and experienced Pre-Sales analytics specialist to join their ever-expanding team in Toronto.  In this role, you will be reporting the Director of Solutions.  This is an exciting period of growth for our client who is offering a diverse position that offers a breadth of responsibility that ensures career growth and scope.

Your responsibilities would include:
  • Participation in any of the following: site survey, strategy sessions, value-based product presentations or demonstrations, and after sale transition to consulting services
  • Work as part of a sales team to drive revenue for their client’s Analytics product line with a focus on Predictive solutions
  • Demonstrate the value of the solution (not just demonstrate the functionality) in relation to real life business problems, and the ability to build a strong working relationship with both the prospect and the Account Team
  • Supporting relevant components of formal proposals and RFP responses
  • Communicate the business requirements to Data Science/implementation team after completion of sale to ensure a smooth transition from presales to implementation stages, warranting a continuous degree of customer satisfaction
  • Be a leader and possess strong sense of teamwork, integrity, success, self-motivation, positive attitude, and work to solve problems
  • Work effectively within a team environment to maximize revenue potential and ensure customer success
  • Research the customer environment to create effective business impact models, build business cases, ROI models, and articulate our clients’ Analytics solutions value in terms of these metrics
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in related fields (Mathematics / Statistics / Engineering / Technology / Business)
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales support role or management consulting in the areas of data mining, big data or business intelligence
  • Exceptional analytical and technical skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills including collaboration, facilitation, negotiation, and persuasion
  • Ability to think out-of-the-box and impress customers with your line of thinking and have a proven record to be a leader and team player
  • You are a passionate evangelist
  • Ability to present and articulate a complete application and technology solution
  • Strong presentation a demonstration skills
  • Proven analytic skill / understanding of Programming and Algorithm Development: SAS, SPSS, R, Python, SQL, Excel
  • General understanding of in Big Data analytics
  • You have a desire, even an obsession, to make customers successful through the best analytics software in the market
