Our client is a well-recognized and highly-established business which designs and manufactures premium interior architectural surface solutions which they customize and distribute through designers, architects and distributors for mainly the Commercial market. Providing industry leading products with exceptional service levels has enabled this business to thrive for more than half a century.
 
Due to the ever increasing demand for their unique range of products, our client is looking to identify a strong individual to take on the role of Specification Sales Representative (A+D) and strengthen their presence in the Baltimore/Washington region. This newly created position will be responsible for representing the line to Architects + Designers to attain a strong pipeline of specification projects and new relationships with relevant clients. The Specification Sales Representative needs to be a natural "people person" who can grow and maintain a strong network of clients and industry contacts and be comfortable presenting to groups at lunch & learns and while hosting and attending industry events. 
 
The ideal candidate will reside in the immediate Baltimore, Washington area close and will possess previous experience working as either a Specification Sales (A+D) Representative or Manufacturers Representative. Knowledge of the custom specification process is required to be successful in this position. An education, background or passion for interior design will also be viewed as an advantage. Commercial Interior Designers who are looking to move into a consultative sales position are also encouraged to apply. 

 
  • Occasional overnight travel will be required in this role.
  • The successful applicant must hold a valid drivers license.
