This is a fantastic opportunity, working with a very large player in the builder industry. Our client has built a strong name in the Building Materials industry and are looking for an Operations Administrator to assist the Accounting team. The chosen candidate will have strong experience in: Inventory, Production & Costing. 

  • Verify quantity on tags by checking the inventory package in ERP systems looking for quantity stated on the tag and comparing quantities written by Forklift Operator on the Yard Pick list.
  • Consume original tag and create two or more output tags, ensuring overall quantities do not change (i.e. a single lift of 150 pieces split into lifts of 50 and 100 would still be an overall quantity of 150).
  • Ensure new tags that have been generated are printed and given to Forklift Operators.
  • Prepare and perform product and mill costing, variance and trend analysis for sales and milling orders using TW Other Microsoft Products  and/or  industry-specific software
  • Process Break bundle costing – Ensure cost flow through properly and prorated properly
  • Streamline records management for analysis and costing transactions
  • Prepare monthly Mill revenue report
  • Liaise with Sales, Operations, Production, A/P and A/R.
  • Cost Return Goods Runs – make sure allocating correct cost to the returned products
  • Maintain Inventory cost write up/Down – maintain proper paper work for every single action
  • Back up for Physical inventory count.
  • Back up for Offsite inventory full process
  • 2 – 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent Communication skills (oral & written)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to take direction well, adaptable, co-operative and able to work under pressure and deadlines
  • Strong initiative, proven ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, large volumes of work and a fast paced, service oriented environment
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

  • Demonstrated maturity with the ability to self manage, organize, prioritize and interact well with others/team
