Senior Product Trainer

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Product Trainer that will be primarily responsible for the design, delivery and integration of corporate training course curriculums. Reporting to the Manager of Regional Marketing & Showrooms, the Senior Product Trainer will oversee scheduling  for a team of Product Trainers. The person will also evaluate the integrity and effectiveness of all regional training programs and compile regular activity reports and provide recommendations. The person will also be responsible for delivering training sessions and maintaining a current working knowledge of market trends.
• Assure instructional design of materials and resources, as well as related processes and procedures, are linked and measurable to strategic needs
• Ensure the consistency and execution of curriculum development processes and implementation
• Work with field Sales Team to determine content affectivity and local training needs
• Guide, mentor and train new and existing Regional Product Sales Trainers
• Coach team members in building the appropriate instructional design for a training solution based upon the needs and requirements of each individual group
• Ensure that training systems and procedures support concept needs and reflect best practices
• Assist with the planning and implementation of annual budgets and setting performance targets
• Assist / coordinate all product and program launches
• Build and maintain relationships with peers and other corporate departments related to content development and implementation
• Evaluate and recommend outside education resources when required based upon a defined needs assessment
• Evaluate and recommend new instructional methods for all educational processes
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education or equivalent 5 - 8 years in a related field
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years in a Sales or Training role
• Knowledge of principals and methods of adult education and presentation techniques
• Have good facilitation and presentations skills and deliver training in an engaging fashion
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in both a team and highly autonomous setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills, written communication skills, and organizational skills
• Must have a working knowledge of educational media and devices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
