National distribution business currently seek an Sales Representative to work closely with the General Manager and Sales Manager and drive the Winnipeg operations. 

This is a sales focused role so the successful person will have a proven track record in sales within a similar distribution model. We are not looking for simply someone who has been a sales representative; But rather, someone who has been successful in a sales representative role and is going to push forward any business they join. 

The organisation is looking for the individual who will drive the organisation forward. They are looking for a 'doer' who gets results and makes things happen. In return they will provide a generous bonus structure and clear career plan. 

The role 
Assisting in driving sales for a $10m + facility providing products to the contractor market, the Sales Representative is responsible driving revenue for this established Winnipeg based branch. The focus is sales, key account management, development of competitive quotes, management of bidding processes and leading growth. The ideal person sets the tone, leads from the front, motivates and sets benchmarks, and pushes others employees to maximizing their potential. 

From Sales Representative, there are career opportunities both locally and nationally for an individual who delivers on expectation and demonstrates and ability to move sales performance forwards.  Working closely with the Sales Manager and General Manager, there will be ample opportunity for career growth, personal development and mentor-ship. 

The candidate
The successful candidate will have;
  • Proven sales experience from the distribution industry.
  • Experience working with the contractor market.
  • Understanding of working closely with operations and logistics functions.
  • Experience managing senior level customers, growing key accounts and opening up new business opportunities.
  • A capacity to learn, adapt and continually strive for higher performance.
  • A hunger to be successful.
