Our client is a well-established specialty building materials distributor with branches across Western Canada. Due to internal promotion, they are currently seeking a sales manager to manage the sales team and grow their existing portfolio of commercial and residential contractor clients.

Joining an already successful and profitable  branch, you will be tasked with growing the top line sales through the development of key account relationships, the identification of new business, the commercial structuring and agreement of deals and the building of a formidable outside sales team around you. Supported by a proven salesman, the General Manager, you will be given the support and guidance to achieve your goals but will need the drive and sales skills to be able to deliver on quotas.  

Focused on the commercial contractor market, this role requires an individual that knows and understands the building industry, has experience working directly with contractors and has a proven track record in structuring quotes, negotiating deals and developing commercially sound relationships with customers. 

Success in this role will afford the individual career opportunities to move into a general management role or take on more responsibilities as a regional sales manager.
