Our client is a rapidly growing building materials company that provide premium products to single and multi family construction. Selling through builders, contractors, architects and designers, remodelers and commercial construction firms, this business has grown its presence in North America to being one of the most trusted and admired building materials brands. 

As business development representative, this person will be accountable for growing sales by maximizing existing relationships with client accounts as well as uncovering for new business opportunities. You will need a commercial, profit orientated approach, sound  proven sales skills, a sound understanding of the home building process, and the ability to influence decision makers on job sites and within the construction industry. 

We need a sales person that is goal orientated and that is motivated to be within an achievement orientated environment that pays for results. There is a base salary provided but the real earning potential comes with the achievement of goals whether that be revenue goals, bulk orders, discounted rates, repeat orders or any number of other key performance indicators that are used to measure success.

The role is extremely flexible and requires a self motivated individual that is happy to work mostly on their own visiting job sites and building relationships with existing and new customers. You will need to be technologically savvy as the quoting system, the CRM system and other tools are all online and form a key part of the management of your day.
