Servicing the predominately retail lumber client portfolio, you will manage inquiries, provide estimates and pricing, work through issues, organize logistics solutions, coordinate shipments and provide a general point of contact for the client. As a provider of building materials products, this business provides products and services to the LBM (Lumber Building Materials) retail market. As such, you will manage customers who are running retail locations across the country. These people will be making buying decisions based on price, service and availability of inventory but most importantly based on relationship. It is vital that you are able to build rapport, develop a relationship and influence a buying decision from the customer. 

The ideal candidate will have knowledge or experience of the building materials industry and products. They should be extremely customer focused and be looking for a career in sales, purchasing or trading. The next career step from this role would be moving into a trading role where buying and selling decisions are your responsibility.
