Our client a leading provider of building materials with locations Canada-wide. The expectation of this role is to develop and further grow their lumber and business products in Nanaimo.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business opportunities in the region.  
  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with existing client base and suppliers
  • Identify key areas of opportunity by reviewing customers, competitors and trends
  • Develop sales objectives and strategies
  • Ensure maximum sales revenues and margins are obtained
  • Attend periodic meetings and trade shows, as required
  • Maintain working knowledge of all features of all products sold
  • Provide customers with relevant product information and service
  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining Product Lines.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience selling Lumber, Panel and Building Products
  • Established relationship with customer base
  • Proven record of delivering superior customer service and satisfaction
  • Team player as well as an individual go-getter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional in appearance
