Location: Plano, TX
Compensation: $110,000 – $120,000


About the Opportunity

Our client, a leader in HVAC innovation, is looking for a dynamic and driven Product Manager to take ownership of their Fan and Blower Coil Unit product line. This role is your chance to shape the future of a critical product category — from strategy and market research to product development and go-to-market execution. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Champion your product: Become the go-to expert and internal advocate for the fan and blower coil portfolio.

  • Be the customer voice: Travel to job sites, engage at industry events, and meet directly with end users to gather insights and drive innovation.

  • Lead with strategy: Build detailed product roadmaps, pricing models, and positioning plans that fuel business growth.

  • Define success: Translate strategy into detailed product definitions, prioritized initiatives, and high-impact outcomes.

  • Own the numbers: Manage the full P&L for your product line — drive profitability and align with the company’s broader goals.

  • Launch with impact: Develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies in partnership with sales, marketing, and manufacturing teams.

  • Deliver results: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market quickly and efficiently.

  • Be the face of the product: Promote new offerings through webinars, training sessions, and industry events.

  • Stay ahead: Monitor HVAC market trends, evolving technologies, and regulations to continuously refine strategy.


What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with fan coil units, air distribution, or similar HVAC technologies — especially with mechanical assemblies or electronic controls.

  • Proven track record managing full product lifecycles, from concept through sunset, with strong financial oversight.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to build compelling product and marketing plans and execute them flawlessly.

  • Strong analytical skills — you use market research and data to guide every decision.

  • Confident communicator, able to lead product training sessions and clearly define positioning.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to meet customers and attend industry events.


Bonus Points For

  • MBA or advanced business/technical degree

  • 3–5 years of focused product management experience

  • Deep understanding of product cost structures and market-based pricing

  • Experience managing portfolios within a House of Brands environment
