About the Role

As a Senior Architect, you will lead multidisciplinary project teams through all phases of design and delivery, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to bring innovative, community-focused projects to life. You’ll play a key role in shaping design strategies, overseeing project execution, and helping to grow the firm’s presence in key sectors—while positioning yourself for future leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex projects across residential, mixed-use, hospitality, and urban design sectors.

• Manage projects from concept design through to construction completion, ensuring design excellence and technical quality.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.

• Mentor and provide leadership to junior and intermediate staff, supporting professional growth and skill development.

• Collaborate with senior leadership on business development initiatives and contribute to shaping the studio’s long-term strategic direction.

• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.

• Stay informed on industry trends, sustainability practices, and evolving urban design strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

• 9+ years of professional experience, including leadership roles on complex projects.

• Registered Architect (AIBC) or eligible for registration.

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with SketchUp and Rhino is an asset.

• Strong understanding of BC Building Code and municipal permitting processes.

• Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering high-profile projects.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.

• A passion for sustainable design and creating vibrant, people-centered communities.
