The Role: Senior Architect

This firm is looking for a confident, experienced architect to lead complex, high-impact projects from concept through completion. You’ll help shape design direction, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure excellence in delivery with opportunities to influence both local and international projects.


What You’ll Do

Design Leadership – Set the design vision and ensure alignment with both client goals and firm values
Project Management – Lead all phases from concept to construction, balancing budget, quality, and timelines
Team Mentorship – Support, coach, and elevate junior talent within a collaborative studio culture
Client Engagement – Serve as a trusted partner to clients throughout the project lifecycle
Technical Detailing – Review and refine construction documents and specs for clarity, compliance, and constructability
Construction Admin – Manage RFIs, submittals, and site visits to maintain execution quality
Code & Permitting Expertise – Apply in-depth knowledge of BCBC, municipal bylaws, and permitting processes


What You Bring

  • A professional degree in Architecture + AIBC registration (or eligibility)

  • 10+ years of experience with civic, multifamily, mixed-use or international projects

  • Strong Revit skills; AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software are bonuses

  • Expertise in project delivery, team leadership, and client relationships

  • Deep technical knowledge of systems, materials, detailing, and CA processes

  • A proactive communicator and problem-solver with a passion for sustainable, community-centered design
