A top business law firm in Mississauga is looking for a Law Clerk, Estate Administration, with 5–7 years of experience in a law firm. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Open and close files, manage calendars, and schedule meetings.
Gather estate administration details from clients and executors.
Communicate with beneficiaries and financial institutions.
Prepare probate applications, estate returns, and legal documents.
Maintain electronic and physical client files.
Assist in developing estate administration templates and checklists.
Qualifications:
Law Clerk certification (preferred).
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive matters professionally.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Kofax, and estate software (Appara, Estateably, ProLaw).
