Competitive salary: $80,000-$90,000 base with discretionary bonus, benefits and 3 weeks vacation

Our client, a well established CPG Distributor, is looking for an Inside Sales / Account Manager to join their growing team in Concord, ON.  Reporting to the VP of Sales, this role will be leading an inspiring team and foster an environment focused on the customer and business growth. As leader of the Inside Sales team, this role will take the lead in maintaining and growing key accounts and seeking out new opportunities.

The Role
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective inside sales strategies to drive revenue growth, achieve sales targets, and strengthen customer relationships in the food distribution industry
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and support the inside sales team, fostering a high-performance culture that enhances customer engagement and maximizes productivity
  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional service, timely follow-ups, and proactive sales outreach
  • Process Optimization: Enhance sales operations by refining processes, implementing CRM best practices, and improving order management for greater efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with field sales, customer service, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations and a unified customer experience
  • Performance Monitoring & Insights: Track sales performance, analyze key metrics, and provide leadership with data-driven insights and strategic recommendations for business growth
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales and account management within a B2B environment ideally, food manufacturing
  • Sales skills: Successful track record in sales, entrepreneurial & hunter mentality, and deep industry expertise 
  • Interpersonal Skills: Personable and able to engage effectively with a diverse range of customers and personality types
  • Attention to Detail: Highly organized with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Leadership: Strong people leadership skills, prior team management experience an advantage 
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks of varying complexity
  • Problem-Solving: Resourceful and proactive in identifying and resolving business challenges driven by passion for excellent customer service
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English required.
