Senior Project Manager – Electrical Construction (Data Centers)

About the Role:
We seek an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale data center electrical projects. This role will oversee all aspects of project execution, from estimating and budgeting to on-site supervision and client management. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in electrical contracting, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive projects to completion on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with company, client, and project policies and procedures.
• Develop project estimates and proposals, including timelines, work plans, budgets, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to design, budget, and schedule while managing on-site supervision.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate and manage personnel and subcontractors, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Handle project billing, forecasting, and collections, ensuring financial objectives are met.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and proactively address any issues.
• Work with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to project managers, assistant project managers, and senior trade professionals.
• Maintain a strong commitment to job site safety and adherence to national safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in electrical contracting project management with a deep understanding of electrical installations.
• Strong background in data center projects or other mission-critical electrical work.
• College degree, Journeyman Electrician’s License, OR Master Electrician licence.
• Proficiency in architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with computer-based estimating tools.
• Strong skills in Google Suite and project management software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification (or ability to obtain within the first year).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Membership in an electrical union preferred (IBEW or equivalent).
• Experience mentoring and managing teams of project managers and trade professionals.
