TalentSphere has partnered with a well established and award winning small to mid-sized Architecture Firm with an office in Calgary to assist them in finding a high level Senior rchitect to join their team. This firm have an excellent reputation for high-end and unique design and have an excellent portfolio of work encompassing both large scale developments as well as small, boutique projects across residential, commercial, hospitality and first nations work. This firm are continuing to grow and this is a great opportunity to join their collaborative team as they continue to produce award winning projects and provide excellent service delivery to their clients.
THE JOB
This role would suit a well rounded architect or architectural professional who is comfortable to work on all phases of a project including high level detailing and technical work. The ideal candidate will have an appreciation for great design work and will come from a background demonstrating this, even if they haven't been extensively involved in design. The role will have you giving input into design development, production, detailing, construction documents, development permits, submittals and tender, construction administration, city liaison, project management and assisting junior staff. You will be involved in a variety of projects across different sectors, both small and large.
WHAT'S REQUIRED
The strong candidate will possess robust technical skills and be well versed in working with mid to large sized multi-family developments, some commercial work and other project experience is an asset. You will be capable of working independently and responsible for project management and seeing projects through from schematic design, through to completion.
Technical skills must including designing details, drawing details, producing full working drawing packages and construction documents and development permits.
In additional to good design skills. you must have strong Revit skills. Ideally you will be registered with the AAA or eligible to become registered and have between 5 to 15 years of combined industry experience. Technologists and designers will also be considered if they have a dynamic skill set.
Building and project performance are top priorities for you, and strong written and verbal communication skills will accompany your dedicated work ethic.
