Job Title: Estimating Coordinator

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $55,000−$55,000−$65,000 per year, plus profit sharing

About the Opportunity:
We are partnering with a reputable construction company to find a skilled and detail-oriented Estimating Coordinator. This role is essential in supporting the Estimating Department, ensuring the smooth execution of bid processes, and maintaining strong communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the successful delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for bid preparation and documentation.

  • Assist in evaluating and prequalifying subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Ensure all necessary documents are completed and submitted before bid deadlines.

  • Prepare and distribute bid packages to relevant parties.

  • Monitor and manage estimating-related communications, including emails and phone calls.

  • Review, organize, and archive bid documents as required.

  • Participate in site visits when necessary.

  • Maintain and update contact information for trade partners.

  • Prepare applications for bonding and insurance requirements.

  • Schedule and organize meetings for the estimating team.

  • Make project-related phone calls to gather information or clarify details.

  • Support the closing process for projects, including tender submissions.

  • Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and other materials to perform accurate quantity take-offs.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Solid knowledge of the construction industry and various trades.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

  • Proficiency with estimating and project management tools (e.g., PlanSwift, MS Excel, RSMeans, Procore).

  • 2-3 years of experience in the construction sector, preferably in an estimating or coordination role.
