Position:  Finance Coordinator (Accounts Payable)

Our client is a small, Canadian owner and operated manufacturing company.   This role will have you working within a fun environment and be a part of a work family.    Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the ideal candidate will be responsible for  a variety of accounting and administrative duties including processing invoices, expenses and other data entry within the accounting database.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a record of on-going payables
• Prepare cash forecast on a monthly basis
• Preparing and processing electronic transfers/payments
• Preparing and processing cheque runs
• Preparing account analysis when required
• Prepare ageing report on a monthly basis
• Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues
• Ensuring payments are made on time
• Maintaining vendor files and updating them in SAP
• Assisting with month end closing procedures
• Prepare month-end related accruals
• Research and dispute claims from customers
• Manage deductions with any third party subcontractors 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study, pursuing CPA is an asset
• 1-3 years' of experience working in Accounting
• SAP experience is preferred 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented
• Strong Excel is a MUST
