Our client, a well established CPG Distributor, is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their growing team in Concord, ON.  Reporting to the VP of Sales, this high performer, is able to create an inspiring team environment focused on the customer, able to monitor and adjust the approach based on volumes and ensure the workload is shared throughout the team.

The key focus of this position is to maintain and grow key accounts and seek out new opportunities to expand the business. The ideal candidate has a strong history of B2B account management experience and can work in a fast-paced environment with an amazing group of people. They care about the quality of work and are capable of responding to solve situations in a professional manner. The successful candidate will be able to work with multiple customers and manage the customer service team to resolve issues and recommend solutions. 

The Role:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, primarily in Ontario
  • Manage all facets of the client relationship, including contracts, pricing, service levels, issue resolution, relationship building and new product proposals
  • Maintain and enhance existing relationships with key clients and key stakeholders, while managing accounts with large sales volumes
  • Grow revenues and service offering to existing clients
  • Review existing accounts to identify new sales and growth opportunities
  • Review client energy data to identify anomalies and assist clients in improving building performance and reducing energy consumption
  • Provide superior customer support and ensure all client requests are professionally handled in a timely manner
  • Anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of the internal and external customers to meet or exceed their expectations within the organizational parameters.
  • Lead a team of Customer Service representatives who manage the day to day execution of account management
The Ideal Candidate:
  • 5+ years of sales and account management experience in a B2B environment
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field
  • Experience with CRM software and Windows, knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, a must
  • Personable with the ability to interact with a diverse range of personality types and customers
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organization skills
  • Prior experience managing a team is NOT required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks with a varying degree of complexity
  • Resourceful with the capacity to solve problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, must be fluent in English
