What You Will Do:
- Effectively managing and coordinating own workforce, equipment, materials and trade contractors to attain targeted profit and schedule.
- Oversee and regulate costs throughout the construction process.
- Maintain comprehensive Quality Control Programs.
- Maintain close collaboration with project leadership, support staff, clients, advisors, inspectors, and subcontractors.
- Anticipate potential challenges, taking pre-emptive action to identify, tackle, and resolve issues before they materialize.
What You Need:
- A minimum of 10 years of commercial construction experience as a Superintendent is required.
- Completion of post-secondary studies in construction, building technology, engineering or a similar field is preferred.
- National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) Certification and Journeyman Carpenter ticket is preferred.
- Must have experience managing projects in excess of $15 million.
- Must possess strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Must be highly organized and able to prioritize responsibilities.
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Projects.
- Must have a valid and clean Driver’s license and be willing to travel to various sites.
- Must have a proven ability to take initiative and be respectful of diversity.
