Senior Project Manager (ICI)
Location: North Toronto
Salary: $120k+ per year

They are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager who will oversee the planning, execution and successful completion of complex construction projects. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety
About this Role:
• Lead and manage construction projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project requirements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Oversee and direct all project activities, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues that arise.
• Review and approve project plans, budgets, and timelines, making adjustments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, industry standards, and local codes.
• Prepare and present regular project updates to senior leadership and clients.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior project managers and project teams.
• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
• Oversee change orders and ensure proper documentation for any modifications to the original scope of work.
• Ensure proper risk management and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Proven experience in commercial and/or institutional projects
• Construction related education, such as CET or engineering related degree.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contract management, cost control, and project scheduling.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and construction industry regulations.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
