Our client is a pioneering diagnostics company based in Vancouver, BC undergoing massive growth while addressing significant unmet medical needs globally.
This is an incredibly exciting time to join as Director, Finance helping to drive financial strategy and operational excellence in this dynamic sector.Reporting into the CEO, you will oversee all aspects of financial operations while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. While ensuring integrity of financial systems and aligning governance with company objectives and commercialization goals, responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Develop and monitor FP&A frameworks, budgets, and KPIs.
- Manage treasury functions, including cash flow optimization and FX policies.
- Lead corporate finance activities, including equity management and capital formation.
- Ensure governance and compliance with regulatory and shareholder requirements.
- Support commercial financial modeling and global sales/partnership agreements.
- Supervise IT and financial systems, recommending improvements as necessary.
Qualifications
- Degree in finance/accounting or life sciences with CPA or equivalent designation.
- 10+ years of related industry experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/ASPE, multi-currency environments, and FP&A processes.
- Experience in corporate governance, tax compliance, and capital formation.
- Analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and exceptional communication are a must.
