Compensation: $50k- $70K annual salary. Dependent on experience.

Our client has 30+ years of experience manufacturing and distributing high quality architectural aluminum products from commercial entrance, vent, casement, to basic curtain wall needs. They are currently looking for an Estimator to join their busy estimating team.
As this is a customer facing role our client is looking for a personable candidate with a customer-first mindset!
About This Role
The Estimator will play a crucial role in analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and ensuring projects are completed within budget constraints.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project scope and requirements.
- Utilize expertise in Construction estimating to accurately assess project costs.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
- Develop detailed project proposals and bids, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address any cost-related issues or changes.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in Estimating/Project Management or a similar role within the construction industry, manufacturing, specifically curtain wall applications.
- Highly proficient in AutoCADD and other computer software systems
- Strong ability to negotiate and build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Solid understanding of pricing strategies and cost analysis.
- Excellent mathematical skills for precise calculations of project costs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of aluminum windows, doors, and entrance systems is not required, but it is considered a positive attribute for this role.
