Project Manager (Window Wall )

Our client is a manufacturer of window wall systems designed for high-rise residential developments in the GTA.
The Position:
Responsible for the management of projects, with a clear focus on project milestones adherence, project performance as well as maintaining a safe working environment to achieve on time delivery for internal and external clients.
Primary Responsibilities :
• Manage drafting turnover and maintain communication throughout drafting tracking status and reviewing as needed with drafting team for accurate deliverables.
• Quality control the accuracy of shop drawings and submittals against the contract requirements and contract documents for compliance
• Participate in the development of strategic plans to drive step change improvements in areas of opportunity within the company's business processes, and in meeting/exceeding customers' needs for improved communication, quick turns & on-time and seasonal demands.
• Must be willing to travel to Project or Client sites upon request

- Responsible to ensure that all Project Management and preconstruction processes are completed to a high standard
- Report and manage allocated KPIs and deviations from targets.
- Manage changes in schedule.
- Manage the preconstruction customer interactions; and
- Communicate risks and maintain risk register for assigned projects,
• Manage drafting turnover and maintain communication throughout drafting tracking status and reviewing as needed with drafting team for accurate deliverables.
• Quality control the accuracy of shop drawings and submittals against the contract requirements and contract documents for compliance
• Participate in the development of strategic plans to drive step change improvements in areas of opportunity within the company's business processes, and in meeting/exceeding customers' needs for improved communication, quick turns & on-time and seasonal demands.
• Must be willing to travel to Project or Client sites upon request
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 + years experience as a Project Manager in building envelope/curtain wall/ window systems is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of architectural drawings (Blueprints, Plan sets, etc.)
- LEED AP, CPM, PMP Certifications are an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Microsoft Project)
- Strong knowledge of construction and scheduling of external workforce
- Advanced knowledge of glazing, installation requirements
- Proven leadership qualities and an ability to drive results through working with others.
